Some missing features and gameplay issues I had during my run.
- Clear all Objects.
- Showing objects that are removable clearer and earlier to teach the player that mechanic more streamlined, now it felt like it just happened all of a sudden and it was not really vissible.
- It's just too frustrating to play this kind of game without something like a minimap that shows you what's going on. A "zoomout" feature would also help.
- It's anoying to wait for that long just to see that the change you made at the end didn't work. Maybe a speedup button to try things out on the longer maps.
- On a lot of levels, the path is going "below" the background map, it is very confusing and looks odd.
- It's incredibly frustrating to have to rerun the level just because you placed an item a bit wrong because you have to estimate how far the character jumps or falls etc. Would be nice to have a dotted line that shows where the character walked during the previous attempt.
Final thoughts/ experience:
I like the idea of the game, and it feels kinda oldschool. I think it's not engaging enough for me currently, but implementing some solutions to the problems I had above as well as creating more of a story or more interesting levels it has potential to be some kind of chill pussle game. Could be cool for mobile gaming if that's what you're targeting.
Good luck

Thanks for the feedback! We did want to implement a lot of these for the game jam but didn't have time. We'll definitely be adding them in the future though!
Unfortunately the items aren't showing for me with normal zoom :(
oh no :(
We did run into a lot of issues trying to get this playable in browser. Hopefully we’ll have a fix uploaded soon after the jam is over.
